Enriching the lives of
Pets and People

At Harmony Veterinary Center the cornerstone of our practice is to help your pets achieve vibrant health and well-being. We provide a balanced approach to veterinary care, combining traditional veterinary medicine with complementary therapies to ensure the highest level of health and happiness for every family we serve. Our focus is on the whole pet rather than a single illness, always mindful of supporting the human-animal bond and promoting optimal wellness for your companion.

Our wellness services include:

Puppy and Kitten Care: Getting off to a good start is essential for every new pet to have a long, active and healthy life. When you bring your new companion to our clinic, we partner with you to develop a health care plan that is tailored to you and your pet.

Adult and Senior Care: Wellness care is the foundation of our practice. We include you as a member of your pet’s care team and make sure that you are comfortable with any and all medical recommendations we make.

Diagnostic Services: We offer state-of-the-art diagnostic tools including digital radiography, dental x-ray and in-clinic laboratory testing, allowing quick and accurate diagnosis and treatment of your pet.

Diet and Exercise: Just like people, pets benefit greatly from a regimen of good nutrition and regular exercise. We partner with you to develop diet and exercise routines that will keep your pet healthy for years to come.

Vaccinations: Vaccinations are an important tool in preventing illness and disease in your pet. However, not all pets need all vaccines. At Harmony Veterinary Center we recommend individualized vaccination plans that consider your pet’s lifestyle and disease exposure risks.

Massage Therapy: Massage therapy can relieve suffering, from minor aches and pains to more debilitating conditions like arthritis. Our certified massage therapist provides soothing relief for both dogs and cats. When pets become familiar with massage therapy, they can’t wait for their next session!

Rehabilitation Therapy:
Rehabilitation includes a variety of techniques, from stretching to swimming therapy, that allow return of movement to injured areas. This alone can help alleviate pain. Techniques such as ice and heat therapy can take away acute pain, while ultrasound can break up scar tissue and the underwater treadmill can strengthen weakened muscles.

Medical Qigong: Medical Qigong is the oldest of the four main branches in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) which include acupuncture, herbal medicine, and massage. Pronounced “chee” (Qi) “gung” (gong), Medical Qigong is a comprehensive system based on differential TCM diagnostics that cultivates the vital energy of the patient to improve or restore overall health. Medical Qigong is a wonderful adjunct therapy to correct the bio-energetic imbalances, or blockages, in the patient’s system so as to strengthen and regulate internal organs, the nervous and immune systems, ease emotions or anxiety, and relieve pain.

Pain Management: Your pet’s comfort is our highest priority. Untreated pain suppresses the immune system and delays healing. It can also affect the quality of life and relationship with your pet. It is vital that pain be addressed so that you and your pet can live an active and healthy life together. Acupuncture, Massage Therapy, and Medical Qigong are a few vital wellness approaches to keep your pet moving freely without pain. In addition, we utilize a variety of other pain management techniques from traditional and complementary medicine to alleviate your pet’s pain.
