Front Office Lead
Amanda is no stranger to the love we have for our furry friends, having lived with animals her whole life. Growing up in the country of Ohio, her grandmother would feed wildlife and stray cats, and Amanda nurtures that love today through her work as receptionist at Harmony Veterinary Center. Amanda facilitates interactions with clients and phone calls, though she particularly enjoys spoiling every pet with plenty of love while checking patients in and out of appointments. She also supports our veterinary technicians and veterinarians throughout the day: “I love all of my coworkers, we all work really well as a team, everyone is super positive,” Amanda says. Amanda started volunteering in animal shelters and rescues at sixteen years old, then obtained her Psychology degree from Post University in —. Upon moving to Colorado in 2018, Amanda decided to pursue careers in the veterinary field and fell in love. She is currently working toward her Master’s Degree and plans to complete her PhD and move into more management-based roles in the future.
Inspired by the TV show “Pit Bulls and Parolees,” Amanda aspires to one day open a halfway house for individuals in recovery and rescue animals. When she’s not working, she enjoys archery with her husband. The couple has a lot of love to give between their beautiful baby daughter, a Siberian Husky, and three rescue cats: a tripod, a longhair black cat with Feline Herpes, and a Siamese Lynx Point. Amanda wants every client to know how much she loves your pets and cannot wait to shower them with love at their next visit.
