All donations from Dec 30, 2021 through January 31, 2022 will go to support the direct medical costs of pets affected by the Marshall Fires. Pets must by under the supervision of a practicing veterinarian who can provide receipts for service and medical outcome prognosis. In making a donation, you are helping pets on a case-by-case basis with medical needs that are expected to have positive outcomes. This includes owned pets as well as shelter or foster animals. The Lexie Fund is an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations to The Lexie Fund are tax deductible to the full extent permitted by law. Gifts of Insurance
A gift of life insurance is a great way to make a donation to The Lexie Fund. To make a gift of life insurance, please contact your insurance provider and request a beneficiary designation form. You will need to list The Lexie Fund as a beneficiary and provide the insurance company The Lexie Fund’s tax ID. We are happy to provide the tax ID to your insurer.
Gift of a Used Car
The Lexie Fund can accept donations of used cars in good or excellent condition. The title of the vehicle must be in your name and be transferable free and clear to The Lexie Fund. The Lexie Fund will sell your car either directly or at auction, and provide you with an IRS form 1098c. We recommend you consult your tax advisor with questions about your donations.
