Ravi was a kitten when his feline mom died suddenly. He was adopted and raised by hand by a single mother. At the age of 2 Ravi’s pet parent died suddenly. These tragedies created a negative stress behavioral response. He was taken in by the Lexie Fund and with gentle care he now lives with new pet parents in Denver.
A Letter from Ravi’s Forever Family:
“When adopting Ravi, we had no idea we’d be getting literally the most lovable and personable cat we’d ever met. After about a month with us in our home, his initial wary and standoffish behavior quickly melted into shameless neediness. We love every minute of it; now Ravi is always quick to garner our attention and snuggles whenever he sees us getting ready to rest on the couch or in bed.
Ravi’s pint-size paws belie his truly prodigious personality. Whenever we invite friends over to our home, Ravi becomes the de facto host—courteously greeting each guest as they enter, chiming in at just the right moment to prevent conversation lulls, and (of course) sneaking some payment for his “services” from the cheese plate.
He is (like many cats, I suppose) too smart for his own good, which gets him into his fair share of trouble by finding every toy and treat we thought were well “hidden.” Despite the occasional antics, however, Ravi truly completes our little family; and he makes every day something to look forward to.”
